   SIOK FALLS Nature enthusiasts looking for river trekking adventure in the City of Koronadal will definitely find Siok Falls to be a great eco-adventure destination. At a height of of 40 feet, Koronadal’s hidden treasure showcases sight-seeing opportunities with nature at its best. Siok Falls are located less than 11 kilometers away from Koronadal City and located along the Roxas Mountain Range, Sitio Siok in Barangay Mabini.  The 40-ft high Siok Falls are the newest eco-tourism destination and river trekking site in Koronadal and in the province of South Cotabato. T he river trekking adventure site was formally launched last Tuesday October 2, 2012 attended by city officials and employees headed by Mayor Peter Miguel, the land owners in Sitio Siok (pronounced si-ohk), members of the media and some nature enthusiasts and adventure tourists.

Tboli, a first class municipality in the province of South Cotabato known for its scenic attractions like Lake Holon which is dubbed as the "Crown Jewel of South Cotabato", the colorful Seslong Festival held every month of March, and for being home to Blaan and Tboli tribes has another offering to its tourists - the Bakngeb River Cave situated in Brgy. Laconon. Officially  launched as one of the must-visit attractions in Tboli town last January 29, Bakngeb River Cave is a 4 kilometer subterranean river frequented by locals and tourists. Bakngeb River Cave features a wide river pool in its outlet, has naturally cold and crystal clear waters which came from an underground cave system and natural rock formations. The river cave is also home to bats.   Visitors can enjoy swimming at the wide river pool at the outlet, go water tubing or ride a raft and explore what's inside Bakngeb River Cave. 7 WATER FALLS AND ZIPLINE ADVENTURE One of the tallest in Asia, the Seven Falls Zipline runs at 180 meters above ground (around 300 meters above sea level). It is divided into two lines: the first extends 740 meters, and the other 420. Visitors dangle and are swooshed 20 meters per second as they scramble to feast their eyes with the gorgeous view, take photographs, and just enjoy the moment. If you could do just one zipline in the Philippines, this is most definitely it. A pause at this point proved a bit anti-climactic but, in a way, was necessary for me to give myself time to breathe and process the epicness I had just witnessed. From the second launch station, we were back to being a rocketship, zooming over the rugged landscape. This ride is shorter, but not any less stellar. To the left, three more waterfalls  sit next to each other, forming a giant liquid staircase:  Hikong B’lebed  (zigzag),  Hikong Lowig (booth) ,  and  Hikong K’foi  (wild flower).

This adventure activities will bring you to a Stratovolcano located in the province of South Cotabato inhabited by the Christian community of Tboli Tribe who considered the mountain as sacred.  The  volcano    hosts a rare species which is related to monarch butterflies called  Parantica dannati  r eyesi    discovered by the late Professor Josue de los Reyes of  Notre Dame of Marbel University    in December 1994. The mountain has an elevation of 1,784 MASL and a base diameter of 40 kilometers (25 mi). It has a 2.9-kilometer (1.8 mi) wide caldera with steep walls that rise 200-500m above its crater lake  known as Lake Holon.  Climbing any mountain can be a bit daunting, especially if you have never been into the wild before.
